(ADW) As part of his responsibilities to oversee the creation of a new government, the Grand Duke held an audience with all leaders of the political parties during the day on Tuesday, including the outgoing Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker.
Following these meetings the Grand Duke has now appointed Georges Ravarani, President of the Administrative Court, with the position of “Informateur” or Informant.
His role is to liaise with all three coalition parties and make sure there is common ground, that they can work together, test the waters, and make sure there are no obstacles before reporting back to the Grand Duke.
Following this step a “Formateur” will be appointed. This person's role will be to actually form the government of three parties.
