(CS) A man living in Tuntange, Luxembourg, was reportedly killed in a plane crash near Namur in Belgium on Saturday.
Police said on Sunday morning that more information about the identity of the man, who is said to be 70 years old, should be revealed at a press conference in Belgium over the course of the morning.
The small aircraft war carry a group of 10 skydivers when it crashed ten minutes after take-off from Temploux. The pilot and all passengers were killed in the accident.
Eyewitnesses said that the plane suddenly nose-dived and just when it looked like it was regaining stability the right wing broke off completely, leading to the crash.
Apparently some of the skydivers tried to jump and open their parachutes, but it was too late.
The plane was reportedly already involved in a crash in 2000, but was then repaired and has since been used again.
Belgian King Philippe visited the site of the crash, being in the area as part of his tour of Belgium following his investiture earlier this year.
