(MSS) Love it or loathe it – the Christmas market at Place d'Armes is just two months away, and ten chalets are now up for rent for charitable organisations and the general public.
Summer has just ended and it seems entirely too soon to start taking about Christmas. But if you are planning on renting out one of the wooden cottages to sell homemade cakes, knitwear or something different, it's time to make a reservation.
From November 23 to December 24, the traditional Christmas market will be in town, and as in previous years, associations who wish to sell their products to raise money for a charity can book one of the five cottages in Grand-Rue.
An additional five cottages will be reserved for artisans and artists, who want to sell their crafts and people wishing to sell second-hand toys.
Knowing it can be hard for leasers to pay for a month's chalet rent and to ensure their presence throughout the lease, the booths will be available for periods of two to three days at 25 euros per day.
