(ADW) A man was reported throwing stones at the end of the A4 motorway damaging a total of four cars on Sunday morning.
According to police a man who was probably drunk, was seen between 6am and 7am standing by the roundabout at Belval, the entrance and exit to the A4.
He is reported to have waved at drivers and as they slowed down, threw rocks and stones at them.
Damage to windscreens, side windows and bodywork was caused to four cars as they passed by. Luckily nobody was injured in the incidents.
Despite an immediate investigation and search by local police patrols, the man could not be found. According to witnesses, he was last seen fleeing down rue Henri Koch and along rue Joseph Kieffer in the direction of Esch-sur-Alzette.
The stone thrower has been described as being about 30 years old, small in height and of normal stature.
If anyone witnessed the attacks or may have seen the man should contact their local police.
