(ADW) If you're interested in up-coming local pop and rock acts of the region in a free concert, then maybe the “Rock Tools Showcase Night” at the Rockhal is for you.
This Friday a total of six bands from Luxembourg and the Greater Region will perform on stage as a finale to their six months of training in the 'Multipistes' training programme.
All the acts have gone through a series of courses covering everything from specific instrument or voice training, stage presence, band organistation and even recordings. Multipistes is a scheme supported be the European Community helping to support and train young acts with potential in the Greater Region.
The Rock Tools Showcase Night therefore is a kind of 'demonstration' as to what they have learned over the previous six months.
Playing for the Grand Duchy will be the alternative rockers “Lawyers Guns 'n' Money” who will hand over the reins for a new edition of Multipistes to Luxembourg folk-pop band Seed to Tree.
The line-up for Friday October 4 , organised by the Rockhal's Music and Resources is as follows:
Lawyers Guns 'n' Money - Alternative rock (L)
BLONDSTONE - Rock (F)
Everyday Circus – Alternative rock (D)
Full of Suédoises - Alternative rock (B)
Mister Yaz – Funk (F)
Portland – Electro-pop (F)
Doors open at 7.30pm at the Rockhal with free entrance and performances start at 8pm.
