(MSS) Save a trip to the big, busy supermarket next weekend, when CarréRotondes hosts an artisan market with local products and lots of entertainment in store.
You may not come across a lot of Luxembourgish products when shopping in the supermarket, but from October 5 to 6, buying local will become a little bit easier when the first "Lët'z Go Local" market kicks off.
A total of 60 exhibitors will showcase their products and services at the market that will be officially opened by Mayor Xavier Bettel on Saturday, October 5 at 10am.
Throughout the day renowned Luxembourgish chefs like Ben Weber, who won Best Chef 2013, will be show cooking and add a twist to local dishes.
Sunday's programme is devoted to families with young children, who can join sewing workshops and make their own Melusina doll out of old pieces of fabric, learn to build juggling tools and juggle and watch 3D printing. Fabric for the doll workshop will be provided, but the children are encouraged to bring a piece anyway to up-cycle.
The market will be open from 10am to 6pm both days and entrance is free.
