(CS) The annual “Oekofoire” starts on Friday, offering information on healthy lifestyles with over 190 stalls on anything from organic food, clothing and make-up to sustainable furniture and the latest trends in ecological construction.
Organised by the Mouvement Écologique the “Oekofoire” is the biggest ecological fair in the Greater Region. It has been taking place for over 25 years and attracts some 14,000 visitors every year.
The fair will give visitors more information on how they can make their everyday life more environmentally friendly, with all products presented at the “Oekofoire” tested by strict ecological criteria.
Taking place during the “Semaine du Logement”, the Foire also offers personal consultations on sustainable construction and energy saving for anyone thinking of building or renovating a home.
Like every year, the 2013 “Oekofoire” will host a series of workshops, including daily cooking sessions, and arts and crafts sessions for children.
Opening hours:
Friday – 2pm to 9pm
Saturday – 10am to 7pm
Sunday – 10am to 6pm
Tickets are 5 euros, but cyclists and those who arrive by public transport only pay 3 euros. Children under 12 go free.
