Luxembourg's inflation rate stayed largely stable in August, compared to the same month last year, with the variation between July and August 2013 mainly due to the end of summer sales.

(CS) Luxembourg's inflation rate stayed largely stable in August, compared to the same month last year, with the variation between July and August 2013 mainly due to the end of summer sales.

Inflation dropped in July because of the annual sale, with August seeing inflation bounce back by 1.46 percent to a value of 1.8 percent. Outside of the sales, the inflation rate only increased by 0.19 percent between July and last month.
