A Luxembourg taxi driver was violently attacked near Diekirch on Tuesday afternoon.
The injured driver was found by motorists at around 4pm on the roadside between Diekirch and Stegen.
He had been beaten and suffered facial injuries because of pepper spray. The victim told police he had been attacked by two men, who fled in a blue car registered to the Netherlands.
One of the suspects had long hair, the second was balding. Anyone with information about this attack or the suspects is urged to call Luxembourg Police on 113 or 4997 8500.
