(CS) Tuesday was the traditional Mayors' Day at the Schueberfouer, where mayors from across Luxembourg don an apron and serve as waiters at the fun fair's restaurants.
With elections just around the corner, 33 mayors from all around the country joined the annual event this year, serving up beer and traditional Fouer foods, from fried fish to roasted ham hock or grilled sausages with chips.
Founded several years ago, Mayors' Day has become a staple of the Fouer calendar, with a good cause behind the idea.
Every year, the mayors donate their wages and any tips they receive during the course of the evening to charity.
