The Luxembourg government is to push for a commemorative plaque to be installed at Auschwitz concentration camp remembering Luxembourgers who perished there.
Of the 263 Jewish people deported from Luxembourg to the Nazi concentration camp in 1940, 237 died there. A further 31 Luxembourg residents who were not Jewish were deported to the notorious camp, a third fo which were killed.
