(ADW) The "International Volvo Meeting" (IVM) took place in Luxembourg from August 16 to 18 with a remarkable success. No less than 85 Volvos of various vintages registered for the 3-day event, which takes place every year in one of the six member countries of the “Volvo friends”.
After Switzerland, Germany and Sweden it was the turn of “Volvo Frënn Lëtzebuerg" to organise the meeting. Participants began arriving on Thursday in Vianden, before a trip to Echternach on Friday.
But Saturday seemed to be the main event with a meeting “rally” held at the Autopolis car dealership in Bertrange where the president of the Luxembourg association explained the details of the tour around the Grand Duchy.
Sunday morning saw a visit to the Luxembourg City before moving on to Barcharage where a car parts market was organised.
