Luxembourg government advises against travel to Egypt

(ADW) Due to what is being considered civil war-like conditions in Cairo and a few other regions of Egypt, the Luxembourg government has now advised citizens not to travel to the country.
The announcement follows hot on the heels of other countries such as the Germany who already advised its citizens not to travel to Egypt on Friday morning, and the tour operator TUI has cancelled all trips.
The announcement came from the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs early Friday afternoon.
A Luxair plane has taken off from Findel airport today bound for Egypt but according to Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, it is travelling empty with the aim of bringing back holidaymakers from the crisis-stricken country in the evening.
