Women's Council calls for focus on gender equality prior to elections

The National Council of Women in Luxembourg has called for gender equality issues, such as a reform of the pension insurance and the establishment of a gender equality commission, to be included in this year's election programmes.

(MSS) The National Council of Women in Luxembourg has called for gender equality issues, such as a reform of pension insurance and the establishment of a gender equality commission, to be included in this year's election programmes.

The Women's Council is extremely disappointed with the recent reform of pension insurance, as women still receive less in pension than men do.
