(AFP) A number of US diplomatic missions closed on August 4 over an Al-Qaeda security alert reopened Sunday, while others stayed shut for the Muslim holidays following the Ramadan holy month.
The embassy in the United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi, and the US consulate in Dubai reopened, as the holiday marking the end of the fasting month came to a close in the southern Gulf state.
