(ADW) Luxembourg resident Paulo Gonçalves and three friends recently travelled over 2,000 kilometres by bicycle from Luxembourg to Portugal. This meant ten days cycling to reach Fafião in Gerês, north Portugal, the birthplace of the Portuguese immigrant. Their efforts paid off as the four adventurers collected 10,000 euros to help five associations in Luxembourg.
It wasn't a trip for everyone but Paulo Goncalves aged 42 has been taking part in triathlons since the age of 22, and was several times duathlon champion in Luxembourg.
