(ADW) Luxembourg’s Minister of Culture, Octavie Modert, spoke out for the first time on Wednesday concerning the controversial Diekirch donkey weather vane stating that there are rules and laws that must be adhered to. However she did admit she saw the funny side too.
In the Minister’s formal statement Modert stated that a donkey “campaign was not appropriate” as the old Diekirch church was classified as a national monument in 1978. “Therefore it is normal that changes to the building must be submitted to the Ministry of Culture” continued the statement.
