Making its way from Mertert to Grevenmacher on a special transport barge, the new border bridge connecting Luxembourg with Germany arrived safely at its destination on Thursday.

(CS) Making its way from Mertert to Grevenmacher on a special transport barge, the new border bridge connecting Luxembourg with Germany arrived safely at its destination on Thursday.
Around 7am the ship left Mertert where the bridge parts for the main section of the new bridge, measuring some 114 metres, had been assembled. It took several hours for the barge to carry its cargo to Grevenmacher.
