(ADW) Donkey or no donkey? That is the question many are asking in Diekirch. Perched high on the top of the church steeple flaps a weather vane shaped like a donkey, the town’s traditional symbol, that was only installed on May 17 this year.
The problem is that as the church has been classified as a national monument since 1978, no changes to the building are permitted without permission and approval on the Ministry of Culture.
