(MSS) On Monday morning a Cargolux aeroplane landed at a military airport near Zurich with a special type of load: the first ever solar-powered aircraft, Solar Impulse.
Propelled only by solar energy, Swiss made Solar Impulse successfully crossed the US from west to east. After the launch on May 3 in San Francisco, pilot Bertrand Piccard was the first to fly the plane to Phoenix, Arizona.
