Cars & tents damaged as storm strikes camping expedition

A camping expedition in Goeblange forest near Steinfort was abandoned on Friday after a big storm struck on Friday night. Falling trees damaged several cars, one of them completely crushed.

(ADW) A camping expedition in Goeblange forest near Steinfort was abandoned on Friday after a big storm struck on Friday night. Falling trees damaged several cars, one of them completely crushed.

It was the annual archaeology “Camp der Geoerges Kayser” and two large sleeping tents, a kitchen tent as well as a storage area were all damaged by wind and falling trees and branches.
