Have fun in the sand at "Urban Beach Esch"

Esch-sur-Alzette may not be on the coast but they've got a beach! That’s if you can call a 500 square metres patch of sand a beach. The “Urban Beach Esch” has just opened to the public and can be enjoyed up until August 31.

(ADW) Esch-sur-Alzette may not be on the coast but they've got a beach! That’s if you can call a 500 square metres patch of sand a beach. The “Urban Beach Esch” has just opened to the public and can be enjoyed up until August 31.

As well as being a nice beach to relax on daily from 12pm to 10pm, it is also designed to fit in with a programme of sand sports such as beach handball being played on August 6 and 7, beach tennis on August 23 and 30, beach football August 27 and 28. Numerous parties and DJs are also planned.
