Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary wants to raise prices for checked baggage in a bid to stop people checking-in luggage for the budget airline's flights, German news agency dpa has reported.

"We will raise the fees until we stop people taking checked baggage with them," O'Leary was reported as saying on Wednesday.
