Eurozone backers on Wednesday handed over four billion euros to the Greek government, following the implementation of reforms sought by the EU and the International Monetary Fund.

(AFP) Eurozone backers on Wednesday handed over four billion euros to the Greek government, following the implementation of reforms sought by the EU and the International Monetary Fund.
"The European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) disbursed today 2.5 billion euros to Greece for budget financing and debt servicing needs," the Luxembourg-based EFSF said in a statement.
