A group supporting the rights of expats working in Luxembourg and a union is urging people to sign a European petition calling for the right to vote for all.
Currently, certain foreign nationals in Luxembourg have the right to vote in communal elections provided they meet certain residency criteria, yet they have no say when it comes to voting for national representatives unless they take dual citizenship.
