People with breathing problems were strongly urged not to exert themselves on Monday after air experts recorded dangerously high ozone concentrations related to the hot weather.
In a press release from Luxembourg's Environment Ministry, it emerged that on Monday afternoon ozone concentrations exceeded the so-called safe threshold of 180 μg/m3 for ambient air to reach 184 mg / m3 in Esch-sur-Alzette.
