A Russian military aircraft is to fly over Luxembourg and surrounding countries up until Saturday as part of tests on surveillance equipment.
The flights are being carried out over Benelux countries using an Antonov AN-30B from March 18 to 23 and have reportedly been fully authorised by the relevant authorities in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg's military leaders refused to provide further information about the test flights but said a full report would be made once they were completed.
The operation is carried out within the framework of the Open Skies Treaty, established by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
