(CS) The traditional “Buergbrennen” seems to have failed in its mission to ring in Spring, as Winter is keeping a firm grip on the Grand Duchy this year.
The last snow had barely melted when Saturday and Sunday, especially, saw more flakes fall from the grey skies covering Luxembourg.
On a somewhat more positive note, the clouds also brought slightly warmer temperatures, though they remained below zero degrees at nighttime in most parts of the country.
However, weather forecasts are looking somewhat more promising for next week, with sunny intervals and climbing temperatures, which could reach up to +7°C towards the middle of the week.
