(ADW) A 12 km traffic jam formed on Friday morning on the A6 motorway in the direction of Luxembourg from the Belgian border.
The reason for the blockage was due to an accident that occurred between Aire de Capellen and the Mamer exit just after 6am.
It was only shortly after 7am the accident site was cleared and traffic began to move again, however ACL reported that traffic was still very slow moving due to the length of the traffic jam and at the time of writing this article (8am) traffic is still more dense than normal on the A6.
