(CS) A work boat sailing under the Luxembourg flag was attacked by pirates off the coast of Nigeria on Monday.
Seven members of the Bourbon Liberty 249's crew were abducted by the attackers. A press statement issued by the Economy and Foreign Trade Ministry on Wednesday said that six of the crew members were from Russia and one from Estonia.
The rest of the crew are said to be in good health. No further information on the incident was available.
The Luxembourg ministry was informed about the incident by the shipping company Bourbon.
