(ADW) On Tuesday afternoon Luxembourg, the Havana Lounge and indeed the Prime Minister, played host to German TV cameras from the Bavarian region, for the show “Münchner Runde” or "Munich Round" (as in "bout").
The theme of the TV show was entitled "Mr Euro speaks plainly: To the point, Mr Juncker " The interview with Juncker was hosted by Sigmund Gottlieb, broadcast the same evening, and wort.lu was present throughout.
"The programme is recorded in parallel in Munich in real time and requires virtually no editing" said production manager Stefan Schaefer. A trailer showing a portrait of Jean-Claude Juncker and film inserts were compiled in advance.
Gottlieb: "Juncker has the courage to think"
Sigmund Gottlieb reflected after the broadcast that the Luxembourg Prime Minister was a "very stimulating and highly competent partner with a lot of courage to think with clear statements."
Just before 3pm Juncker appeared and went through make-up before settling on the set to chat with Sigmund Gottlieb. At the end of the 43-minute interview both agreed "It was a good conversation!"
