(ADW) A brutal robbery took place at a service station in Martelange when the cashier was tied up before being by two armed robbers before they escaped with cash.
It was at a BP service station that the shop assistant was tied-up and locked in an adjoining room to the shop on Sunday morning.
They then fled the in an old Luxembourg registered burgundy-red Nissan Almera with the fake number plates VN?107 in the direction of Arlon. The car was reported to be fitted with black steel wheels and had a trailer tow point.
No more information regarding the robbers is currently available.
The shop assistant was later discovered and freed by a bus driver who had stopped to refuel.
