(ADW) With its focus on food and wine the 100th edition of the “Foire de Printemps” or Spring Fair this year, pulled in the crowds. On Sunday Luxexpo proudly announced that just under 70,000 visitors had perused the stalls of Luxembourg and Greater Region exhibitors.
Once again, wine exhibitors proved a major attraction for the fair. Both experts and amateur wine lovers could taste the wines and sparkling wines from the Moselle region of Luxembourg as well as further afield.
Of course food was also on offer! Demonstrations of chocolate, sweets and ice cream making were well attended.
Jean-Michel Collignon, director of the Luxexpo is already planning next year’s Spring Fair which is due to return to its home in Kirchberg for the 101st edition.
