(JB) As some residents were still recovering from the excesses of Luxembourg's biggest party, National festivities got underway across the country on Thursday.
The morning began with the traditional Te Deum, for which St. Mary's Cathedral in Luxembourg City was packed out with invited guests, including national and European politicians.
The action then moved closer to the gare where Avenue de la Liberté was filled with thronging crowds.
Spectators turned out in their thousands to witness the military parade and catch a glimpse of the Grand Ducal, in particular the Grand Duchess' stylish outfit.
