(JB) A homeowner was woken with a start on Monday morning when they received a loud knock at the door - from a crashed car.
The collision took place around 5.40am on Monday in Boulevard Prince Henri in Esch-sur-Alzette.
According to the Grand Ducal police, the driver lost control of their vehicle and veered off the road, colliding with the front door of the residential property.
Two people were injured during the collision and required hospital treatment.
