A motorcyclist who became trapped under a car was rescued by bystanders. Read on to find out how.
(JB) Paramedics and bystanders teamed up to lift a car and free a motorcyclists who became trapped after falling from his bike.
The heroic scene was played out at about 1am on Saturday in Boulevard Pierre Dupong.
There, emergency services arrived at an accident scene to find a motorcyclist trapped under another motorist's car.
Faced with lengthy delays if they called for further assistance, the paramedics and onlookers knew the only solution was to try to raise the vehicle.
Together they managed to lift the car and the biker was released and treated for serious injuries.
According to witnesses, the motorcyclist lost control and struck the vehicle in front, sliding under the wheels of the other vehicle.
It is thought that he was dragged several feet under the car before it came to a halt. Luxembourg police are investigating the incident.
