(JB) The body of a man has been found in an abandoned car at the bottom of the Moselle river.
The grisly discovery was made by scuba divers during a routine check at the Mertert dock, near Grevenmacher.
The men first discovered an abandoned car on the river bed during a dive on Tuesday morning.
It was only after the car had been lifted from the water that the remains of a man's body was found inside.
According to police, it was impossible to identify the body. An autopsy is due to be carried out.
