In support of future mothers, the LCGB organised a protest march on Thursday for the preservation of Wiltz's maternity hospital.
Around 400 citizens from the north of Luxembourg as well as the Greater Region followed the call to protest assembling outside the maternity hospital on Thursday before marching to the town hall where talks were being held.
Representatives from the organisations "Nee zu der Fermeture vun der Maternité zu Wooltz” and "Association luxembourgeoise des sages-femme" as well as the President called for the preservation of Wiltz maternity hospital.
Mayor Frank Arndt however, despite the protest stated that he did not believe there was much hope in saving the hospital.
