(ADW) Yep, it’s that time again. On Thursday at 8pm, in rolled the battalion of trucks to begin building the 671st "Schueberfouer” for 2011. So from now on, until the fair is over, no parking is possible at the Glacis car park.
It’s not just a free for all though, traditionally there’s a specific order for what and who can set up when.
Marc Weydert, director of "Office des fêtes, et marchés foires" for Luxembourg City explained that first come the restaurant marquees and buildings, then the big fairground rides, followed by meduim-sized and smaller companies, and not forgetting performers. Shop stalls this year will be on Allée Scheffer.
So from August 19 until September 7, it seems as though there will be a lot to look forward to at this year’s Schueberfouer.
