On 1 June this year Luxembourg police were temporarily "offline." A technical glitch meant that connections to emergency services and police were lost temporarily in the early afternoon.
In Parliament, Jean-Marie Halsdorf addressed the issue after questions posed by MP Fernand Etgen.
In the report it was announced that calls to emergency services and police could not be made for at least 32 minutes on 1 June and not more than 45 minutes.
According to Halsdorf, during that time, no calls could be made to the emergency number 113.
The minister stated that plans have now been initiated to avoid similar failures in the future.
