Luxembourg's administrative department for the “Caisse nationale des prestations familiales” is to move from the Boulevard Prince Henri into new premises at the boulevard Royal.
The move takes place between August 22 and 26 but all public counters will remain at the usual address at the Avenue de la Porte Neuve. For technical reasons however the counters will be closed to the public on August 24 and 25.
Myriam Schank of the National Fund for Family Services emphasised that “100 functionaries of the administrative department are concerned”. Mrs Schank explained that “during those days, the servers will be disconnected so that the computers and phones can be transported to the new premises and installed again”.
The 26 staff that welcome the citizens at the counters in the Avenue de la Porte Neuve, Luxembourg City, are not affected by the move. However, the opening times for the counters will change from the October 1. From this date, the counters will also be open during lunch hour.
The move follows location changes by the Ministries of infrastructure and sustainability as well as the Ministries of Tourism, Trade and Opportunities.
