(ADW) Who pulled the plug? Where's the water? The photos speak for themselves: The basin of the reservoir lake at Esch-sur-Sûre currently has alarmingly low water levels.
A whole new landscape has opened up to hikers who are now able to virtually walk inside the lake’s basin that used to be covered in water. The proof is in the photos taken by a mywort.lu reader.
The water authorities in Esch-sur-Sûre believe the reason for the drop in water levels in the reservoir is due to lack of, or too little, rainfall!
This may come as a surprise to many Grand Duchy residents complaining about current weather conditions.
