A CFL employee has been rushed to hospital for tests after becoming injured by a used syringe.
According to police, the worker was cleaning a CFL train carriage in Pétange, when the needle pierce their skin.
The needle had reportedly been left on the carriage along with abandoned drug paraphernalia at around 2am on Thursday.
The employee was taken to the hospital in Esch-sur-Alzette to ascertain whether they had contracted a blood-borne disease from the exposure.
