(JB) Current and hopeful Female board members will have a chance to network and gain valuable skills at a seminar in Luxembourg.
The Female Board Pool Seminar, on October 17, features talks by Vivian Reding, leading academics and legal professionals.
Organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg with Maison du Coaching, Mentoring and Consulting, the event is an ideal opportunity for female board members to showcase their profiles, for hopeful board members to learn the basics about Corporate Governance and for organisations to scout for new candidates for their board.
The one-day seminar starts at 8.30am and runs until 5pm. During the course of the day, guests will share examples of best practice, meanwhile there will be workshops focusing on cooperation strategies, creating a demand for women board members and helping individuals pave their way into senior board roles.
In addition, workshops will look at the importance of role models, networks, mentors and creating a work life balance.
The seminar is hosted at the Parc Hotel Alvisse, 120, route d'Echternach, L-1453, Luxembourg-Dommeldange. Registration is 200 euros for members, 250 euros for non members (including VAT).
