(JB) A female pillion rider was airlifted to hospital after a motorcyclist drove over her leg.
The woman fell from the back of a motorbike as it pulled away from stationary traffic on the route de Luxembourg in Wasserbillig at around 5pm on Monday.
According to police, traffic flow had stopped and restarted several times prior to the accident.
In the sudden acceleration as traffic flow resumed, the woman fell from her position at the back of the bike.
Moments later, a motorcyclist behind the pair drove toward them, driving across the woman's leg and leaving her seriously injured.
The second motorcyclist subsequently fell off their bike. They were not reported as having received serious injuries.
