A visionary lost
Barack Obama paid tribute to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs as one of the greatest American inventors. Together with his wife Michelle, they were “saddened by the death of Steve Jobs” a White House statement said. By building one of the most successful companies on the planet out of his garage, jobs “embodied the spirit of American ingenuity”, said Obama. “The world has lost a visionary”.
