(JB) The second day of a trial to ascertain blame for the Luxair crash in which 20 people perished was postponed.
According to the president of court room 9 at the court house Prosper Klein, a technical fault with the sound system being used by interpreters was the cause.
The president expected the fault to be fixed within an hour but dismissed the court for the day on Tuesday to avoid further disruption and delays.
The hearing was expected to resume on Wednesday. During the trial, a judge will hear testimonies relating to the biggest air disaster in Luxembourg's history.
The accident, on November 6, 2002, saw a Luxair Fokker 50 travelling from Berlin crash in a field beside a road between Niederanven and Roodt-sur-Syre.
Nine witnesses were expected to give testimony this week. In Monday's session, the judge heard reports from two French expert witnesses.
