It's not time to hang up your lederhosen just yet as Oktoberfest is not quite over. In fact, wear your lederhosen or dirndl, the skirt equivalent, this weekend and get a free drink!
While Oktoberfest has long gone from its traditional home in Munich, Bertrange celebrates the event in style on Saturday at the Centre Atert.
From 8pm you'll be able to enjoy the Bavarian party atmosphere with traditional beer, bretzels and even the traditional meals “Haxen” a leg of pork or ham hock, and half a “Händl” which is chicken.
There will also be entertainment provided by an original Bavarian live band “Big Bam Boo” for you to sway or even dance and sing to.
And if you wear traditional dress, so lederhosen or dirndl, you're entitled to a free drink! Can't be bad.
All this costs 5 euros presale or 8 euros on the night.
If you want the pork or chicken however, you have to order in advance by email to: info@dtfb.lu
Centre Atert is clearly sign-posted once you reach the centre of Bertrange.
