(ADW) It seems that many people’s Sunday was spent at the Victor Hugo hall in Luxembourg at the traditional Red Cross Bazaar, as the event attracted a large amount of visitors.
The annual charity event aims to raise money for people in both social and housing related distress.
With just 30 stalls, visitors could find Christmas gifts, handmade ornaments, second-hand clothing and culinary delicacies. It was also an opportunity for the Red Cross to present their projects.
Grand Duchess Maria-Theresa, the President of Luxembourg’s Red Cross, announced her visit to the bazaar in the afternoon at short notice. Shortly after the opening of the bazaar, she visited the stalls together with Princess Tessy. Taking her time, Maria-Theresa stopped for relaxed chats with stall holders interested to hear about their individual roles in the fund raising event.
