(JB) US ambassador to Luxembourg Robert A Mandell presented his credentials to Grand Duke Henri on Wednesday, allowing to begin duties.
The Florida-born property developer is the 21st US ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Mr Mandell was sworn in by the US Senate on October 25 in Washington DC.
He arrived in Luxembourg on October 29 and has already made steps to meet locals by attending a series of events.
